Alan Parsons - Head of Logistics

Alan is a skilled professional with 17 years of mobile telecommunications experience, mostly spent in Senior Management roles in the fields of Supply Chain, Logistics, SIM Cards and Numbering.

Alan has played a key role in the creation and then the running of two MVNO’s, at Kingston Communications and then at BT Mobile.  Alan had specific responsibility for the creation and day to day running of Logistics/Supply Chain capability including device portfolio selection and device procurement.  In addition he was also responsible for SIM Card specification, ensuring these were produced and manufactured to the correct specification and for the management of Mobile Telephone Numbers.

As well as the MVNO experience Alan has also worked for Cellnet (now O2) in a number of roles including Materials Planning Manager and Stock Control Manager at their National Distribution Centre and then as Head of SIM and Number Operations Centre.

Alan also has Project Management experience gained within a range of roles from heading up a work-stream to Business Owner responsible for the decision making and delivery of projects and programmes.
